Victoria has been dancing in a variety of styles since age 3. Growing up in New York she competed nationally in styles including tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop and pointe. Training with TKO Dance Academy in Ozone Park, New York, Victoria won several titles with her company’s competition team.
She continued to compete throughout high school and college, where she was also a member of her high school dance team, and the captain of her high school cheer team. In college she majored in Forensic Science and minored in Dance. Along with the weekly dance classes and performances for her minor, she also was a member of the student run performance club, Danceworks.
In college she transitioned from competing with her studio, to teaching there. Victoria taught ages 2 ½ through 20 in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and acro. Following her career to Washington, DC, Victoria moved to pursue her Masters in Crime Scene Investigation. While in school in DC she taught tap, jazz, hip-hop, and mommy & me movement classes with Tippi Toes DC.
Victoria was also a professional cheerleader for the Washington Capitals Red Rockers in the 2016-2017 season, cheering them on through their run in the playoffs.
Victoria still continues to teach throughout the DMV, and take classes whenever she can. Dance has been a constant throughout Victoria’s life, and she hopes throughout teaching she can allow others to express themselves without boundaries, the same way dance has always done for her.
