Quiana is a New York native, but raised in the DMV since childhood. She started her performing arts career as a dance artist training and performing across the nation. Her early dance studies were based in the Horton and Graham styles of modern dance, with more extensive training in hip hop and contemporary heels/femme dance. In 2011, she launched her career as a teacher, instructing at various studios and companies across Washington, D.C. and turned to performance coaching in various dance and fitness disciplines in 2014.
Today, Quiana continues to expand her talents as an artist and teacher, with interests in bridging the dance divide. She believes dance is absolutely for EVERYONE and it is a great way to find confidence and healing. Her current favorite style to teach is Latin fusion; where hip-hop meets salsa, with femme flair!
